Prestige Nursing & Care has provided home care for over 75 years and we have 30 local offices in England and Scotland. We look after a variety of clients in their own homes and we also work with local care homes, nursing homes and the NHS.

Who will you be helping to make life better for?

Our client requires carers to work 25-35 hours per week, this will be a mix of days and evenings, shift length is variable depending on client requirements which are changeable. Shifts will be between 0700 and 2200 with alternative weekends off. Bank positions are also available. Applicants must have a minimum of 6 months care experience. Experience with autism is advantageous. Must be willing to drive a larger sized vehicle and confident in assisting clients with swimming.

We are ideally looking for you to be:

  • Empathetic, compassionate and warm individual.
  • Flexible with the ability to work a varied shift pattern.
  • Over the age of 25 and have a full, clean, manual, UK driving licence, so you are able to drive our client's car.
  • Experience in working in Autism is advantageous.
  • Ideally you will be young at heart and enjoy social outings including, concerts, cinema, meals out and some sporting activities.
  • We are welcoming applications from candidates that have six months' paid experience in care such as a care assistant, domiciliary carer, support worker, personal healthcare assistant, care worker or similar.
