Summary

As the Spa Manager, you will be a key part of our hotel leadership team with responsibility for developing all aspects of the spa business.

Depending on the hotel, your area of responsibility will include one or more of the following:

spas, leisure & spa reception, relaxation rooms, food & beverage outlet swimming pools, sauna, steam room, locker rooms, gym, class studios, racket sports and plantrooms.

What will I do as Spa Manager?

Working with the General Manager & Central Spa Director, you will develop, maintain & administer a business plan for the spa including budgets and marketing, identifying opportunities to maximise the use of the spa facilities

You’ll be a hands-on people manager who is able to provide ongoing support & training to a team of therapists who have a varying level of experience, from apprentices to senior therapists. You’ll make sure the team have the right qualifications, identifying additional training and development requirements and have an eye for future talent and promotion opportunities.

You’ll make sure the facilities are kept in a high standard of presentation & cleanliness, with health & safety always followed.

You’ll build great working relationships with other head of departments & senior managers across the hotel and the wider business. You’ll have the full support of great central teams who will be on hand to help you with recruitment, development, marketing, revenue & sales.

Is this the right Spa Manager role for me?

You’ll need to have previous experience in leading a Spa team, focusing on developing and retaining therapists. You are passionate about making the spa a high performing and fun place to work.

You’ll need to be fully qualified and be happy to roll your sleeves up and provide treatments when required. We don’t expect this to be a regular thing, but there may be a need during exceptionally busy times.

You’ll be KPI & target driven, with an eye on hitting the top place on our leadership boards for sales, customer scores and payroll control!
