Summary
We are currently recruiting for polling staff including Presiding Officers, Poll Clerks, and Verification and Count Assistants.
Have you ever thought of getting involved at election time by either working at a polling station, the verification or count? Do you have a friend or family member (over 18) who would like to be involved?
Our Electoral Services Team is always looking for new people to help and would like to hear from you if you're interested in becoming involved. There are 167 polling stations throughout the South Hams and West Devon area and vacancies can arise at any time.
The next election is on Thursday 2 May when the Police and Crime Commissioner will be elected. The verification will be held on Thursday 2 May from 9:30 p.m. and the count is on Friday 3 May at 10:30 a.m.
