Saturday 9am to 2pm
Times may vary in the future and extra hours required on occasion
Pay - £13.15 per hour – reviewed annually
Start date - 1st June 2024
Job Description
• Security of the premises. You will be a key holder and have responsibility for locking and unlocking the premises as well as maintaining the security of the building during your working hours
• Welcoming and assisting visitors and hirers. Purley URC hosts a wide variety of church and community activities. The job includes preparing rooms and moving tables and chairs
• Cleaning the premises. This includes a variety of areas - kitchens, toilets, communal areas and a number of meeting rooms
• Coordinating and assisting in any emergencies, such as evacuation of the premises, and general running of the premises as listed in the Caretaker’s Manual
Employment is subject to references and satisfactory identity and “right to work in the UK” check
