Summary


Working within the Essex Wellbeing Service the post holder will be responsible for the day to day support, facilitation and monitoring to ensure that assigned projects are planned, managed and delivered effectively in line with the organisations guidance for managing projects and PMO project assurance processes.

The role requires collaborative working, excellent project management and facilitation skills, and a ‘can-do attitude’ with a strong focus on delivery of public health prevention services.


• Provide assurance to Project Boards. This will include monitoring progress against plans and providing the test and challenge to those responsible for the delivery of project benefits.
• Ensure projects risks, opportunities and issues are appropriately managed and escalated and lessons learned are captured.
• Provide advice and potential solutions to mitigate project risk, learning is maximised and best practice is adopted.
• To facilitate effective liaison and relationships with people at all levels, including a broad range of key internal and external stakeholder organisations.
• In agreement with the Tobacco strategic plan own workload, and manage own time effectively, prioritizing own workload appropriately and using own initiative when non-routine situations arise.
