Prospero are a staffing provider and we are looking for Residential Support Workers to join our team to support a Residential Children home, maintaining and providing emotional support, personal growth, and supporting needs. We are looking for staff who will ensure the young people they support will have a stable and secure home environment where they can thrive. If you are looking for flexibility, to manage your own rota, this may be the role for you! You will either be able to join their rota, on a rolling three weeks rota, as a contracted, or support with ad hoc, ongoing shifts.
Prospero Health and Social Care require at least 6 months experience in the health and social care sector/children services. Some contracts may be extended from day-to-day bookings to longer term cover.


CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS
Location - Various locations across Swindon and Wiltshire (Consistent work at services available)
Position - Residential Support Worker/Young Person Support Worker
Type of work - Support Worker - ad hoc bookings, potential to extend, Temp to Perm
Start date - ASAP
Duration / Likely Duration - ad hoc bookings, with the potential for extension depending on the client
Contract type - Temporary or Temp to Perm
Full time/part time - Part time and full time depending on client needs
Minimum rate of pay - Minimum rate GBP12.83 per hour on a PAYE basis Minimum rate of GBP14.30 per hour on a Umbrella basis
Hours - Shift work 08:00 -22:00 + SLEEP or 08:00 -20:00 or 10:00 -23:00 +SLEEP

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child and adults barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional care related references that cover the last three years
