Summary
We seek a SIA-licensed individual to join our brand-new security company in Cambridgeshire.
This is a permanent position based in Newmarket, a minimum of 4 hours per shift, with overtime available during peak times such as racing and sales.
Responsibilities include:
· Maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and staff;
· Monitor and control access to the premises;
· Conduct regular patrols to ensure the security of the premises and report as required;
· Respond quickly and effectively to any incidents or emergencies;
· Professionally handle difficult or unruly individuals;
· Provide excellent customer service on behalf of the company.
Experience:
· SIA licensed (required);
· First aid certification (required);
· Own transport (required);
· Previous experience as a Door Supervisor or in a similar security role is preferred but is not required (full training will be provided).
Skills:
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
· Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations;
· Excellent observation and problem-solving abilities;
· Physical fitness and ability to stand for long periods of time;
· A can-do attitude to potential problem-solving;
· An ability to work as part of a diverse team.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £12.50-£14.00 per hour depending on experience.
Expected hours: 6 – 32 per week
