We are currently looking to recruit 2 Highly Specialist Clinical Psychologists to work into the North and South Locality Adult Mental Health multi-disciplinary teams in Rotherham.There is one post in the North Locality Team and one post working across both teams.

We are seeking to recruit two highly motivated, compassionate and dedicated Clinical Psychologists to work as an integral part of a multidisciplinary team offering a range of therapies and approaches, to clients with a diverse range of mental health issues. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing team of supportive, compassionate and value-driven Psychological Professions. Our service has a growing number of Psychological Professions working in a system with clear governance and leadership structures which enables Psychological Professions to have a strong voice and to offer good support to those working with us.

The postholder will offer a qualified clinical/counselling psychology service providing specialist psychological assessment and interventions, developing formulations and implementing evidence based interventions in line with NICE guidance. This post offers a valuable opportunity to develop skills in consultation to enhance psychological thinking in the team. A key role of the post-holder will therefore be to offer consultation and supervision, opportunities for reflective practice, alongside promoting staff wellbeing and resilience. They will work autonomously within professional guidelines and the overall framework of the team’s policies and procedures. They will also be committed to the principles of recovery, have effective interpersonal and time management skills as well as being a responsive and motivated team player.

The successful applicant will have Doctoral level training in clinical or counselling psychology or be due to qualify this year and be HCPC registered as a practitioner psychologist.

The successful candidates will receive management supervision from the team manager and clinical supervision from a Senior Clinical Psychologist. There will also be the opportunity to access appropriate training to further develop skills.
