The Role

Job Title: Homeless Prevention Coach

Hours: 18.5 hours per week

Shift Pattern: Covering Monday to Friday

As a Homeless Prevention Coach you will provide direct support to the people we work alongside focusing on the prevention of homelessness and tenancy related issues, ensuring the provision of an effective and responsive support service.

You will prioritise and address any issues that may be causing immediate risk of homelessness and work collaboratively to equip people with the skills they need to build their resilience, confidence and address their vulnerabilities around maintaining their tenancy.

You will facilitate a positive experience of engaging with other agencies, GPs, mental health services, addiction services, legal and debt advice services and any other community based support agencies that may be conducive to a more stable lifestyle.

We are looking for someone who is kind, caring and supportive with great interpersonal skills and an excellent understanding of mental health and the individual needs of the people who access our service.
