Reporting to the Supervisor, SSL Verification, the Verification Specialist is responsible for researching, gathering and validating qualified information for customers purchasing and managing SSL certificates products with the purpose of ensuring adherence to Entrust’s strict verification policies and procedures. This aligns with Entrust’s annual WebTrust audit.

The main focus of the Verification Specialist is to process customer and service requests. In this role, you will execute verification procedures and ensure that customer account and order information conforms to guidelines and requirements placed on Entrust by international governing bodies.

Responsibilities

Responsible for researching, gathering and verifying the correctness and authenticity of the information collected for new ECS orders, account modifications and renewals through Qualified Independent Information Sources (QIIS) and Government Information sources (QGIS).

Responsible and accountable for having detailed knowledge of Entrust’s verification policies and procedures

Work closely with the Verification Auditors to resolve customer issues and to develop and recommend issue resolution

Help define, recommend and implement process improvement and efficiencies to enhance Verification operational effectiveness (e.g. improving issuance times) and improving customer satisfaction

Maintain ongoing tracking of work using approved productivity tools to ensure customer requests are continuing to move toward satisfactory completion within prescribed service level timelines

Assist Entrust Partners and Affiliates with enquiries and/or customer issues

Liaise with Customer Relationship Managers (CRM) to help ensure customer requests are actioned

Be available to take action on work as assigned by the ECS Operations Prime

Any other ad hoc duties as required

Qualifications

Previous experience in an authentication role preferred

Experience in a direct customer support/service role

University degree or college diploma preferred

Excellent analytical and creative problem-solving skills

Strong attention to detail a must

Ability to prioritize, multitask, and make decisions in a changing and dynamic environment are essential

Strong technical aptitude (e.g., ability to quickly learn new software)

Experience with Microsoft office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)

Ability to work rotating shift
