Summary
The Best Connection are currently seeking a skilled and motivated General Sheet Metal Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with various types of sheet metal, including stainless steel, aluminium, and galvanized steel. The role will involve fabricating, assembling, and installing sheet metal products according to specifications and industry standards. As well as assisting in day to day tasks around the warehouse. The job is located in Southwick and the ideal candidate would be someone with experience in the industry.
Responsibilities: Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine job requirements Cutting, shaping, and forming sheet metal using tools such as shears, brakes, and punches Welding, soldering, or brazing components to assemble fabricated metal products Installing and repairing sheet metal products, including ductwork, roofing, and siding Performing quality inspections to ensure finished products meet quality standards Adhering to safety protocols and procedures at all times Assisting with day to day warehouse tasks. Helping out senior sheet metal fabricators. Requirements: Proven experience as a sheet metal worker or similar role Proficiency in reading blueprints, drawings, and specifications Familiarity with a variety of sheet metal materials and fabrication techniques Strong attention to detail and precision Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to tasks.
