Summary

Your new company
A growing SME manufacturing business, based in Pembrokshire (West Wales), is seeking an Operations Manager to join their business as a newly created role. With an established supply chain and year-on-year growth across the last 5 years, this business can offer a short-term growth challenge alongside wider career growth opportunities for the right person.

Your new role
As the Operations Manager, you'll be reporting to the Managing Director with 5 direct reports and 60 indirect reports. Within this role, you will be in sole control of the total factory manufacturing output, manage the quality teams, set out H&S standards and support the growth of the business. You will be expected to take the lead on H&S audits, deliver change to drive quality improvements and support in the continual development of your existing site leadership team. With sustained growth on the cards, this role could quickly evolve into a Head of Operations / Operations Director level role within the next couple of years.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in your application for the Operations Manager vacancy, you must have proven working knowledge of working within the manufacturing sector. Ideally, you'll have either a NEBOSH or IOSHH qualification; these, however, won't be crucial to your application. You must have a strong set of leadership and communication skill sets to effectively drive the business forward on its journey of sustained growth.

What you'll get in return
As the Operations Manager, you'll be paid an annualised salary of up to £55,000, which will be dependent upon your experience. In addition to this, you'll join the leadership bonus scheme, join a generous pension scheme and will be given access to a variety of flexible benefits.
