As a Paint Robot Programmer, you will deliver new vehicles in scrap target, work on paint consumption and optimise path programming to ensure high-quality products to the customer.
To give you an idea of how this Paint Robot Programmer role would look and feel, here are some of the things you could expect to do:
• Make and use change logs, Toolbox Talk and any other documentation that supports the stability of the paint line relevant to robotic application
• Programming paint line robots (flaming, application)
• Set up and document the flame treatment and paint parameters of the robots
• Modifying software (robots, backup, 3Donsite, Iboflow etc)
• Optimise robot application using monitoring data such spray vision analysis
• Monitor results of flame treatment
To apply for this Paint Robot Programmer role, your soft skills, expertise, and experience should include:
• Experience in paint application is essential
• Ability to develop a robot trajectory to apply paint on plastic
• HND in engineering
• Robot programming with Durr robots is ideal however if you have worked with ABB, Kuka or other manufacturers this is still ok
• Ideally you will have worked with 3donsite but training will be provided
• Useful knowledge to have is program languages, PLC programming, control system design, SAP, SCADA
• Quality/CI mindset
• Good communication skills
