Summary
Our client is seeking a Workshop Supervisor to lead the shop floor operations within their manufacturing department. This role is pivotal for someone looking to demonstrate their leadership and technical skills in managing a highly skilled team.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the team, ensuring projects adhere to company standards.
- Apply a hands-on management approach, with a preference for candidates experienced in Lathe, Mill, and Brake Press machinery.
- Manage daily team operations, including scheduling, absences, discipline, and annual reviews.
- Ensure comprehensive coverage across all disciplines within the team.
Qualifications:
- Proven leadership experience in a similar supervisory role is preferred.
- Experience with Lathe, Mill, and Brake Press machinery.
- Capability to oversee projects from design to completion.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
