We're thrilled to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Compliance Consultant to join our central recruitment & compliance team based in Codsall, Wolverhampton. Our central compliance team are responsible for managing the onboarding process for our Healthcare Assistants, Support Workers, and Registered Nurses, ensuring all candidate files are signed off and compliant with CQC regulations before commencing work. They are responsible for administering pre-employment checks such as eligibility to work in the UK, obtaining employment references, processing DBSs, and conducting audits to ensure all staff are fully compliant to work. As the Senior Compliance Consultant, you will oversee, inspire and direct the team to ensure that set targets and KPIs are met, as well as supporting the day-to-day duties and manging the compliance of our existing workforce.You will also hold responsibility for generating weekly reports to track progress and propel the team towards success. We are specifically looking for someone who can demonstrate experience of working within compliance/onboarding and is ready to take on a higher level of responsibility, with the drive to lead a team. This experience would preferably be gained within a healthcare setting, however this is not essential. This role is varied and fast-paced, so our ideal candidate will be self-motivated and proactive, a natural investigator and have excellent attention to detail, along with strong organisational and interpersonal skills. Priorities often change so adaptability and being able to manage these priorities effectively is essential. Establishing strong relationships is key within this role, as you will frequently collaborate with colleagues throughout the company and lead regular compliance progress meetings. Therefore, you must be confident when speaking on the telephone, possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and effectively to both internal colleagues and external stakeholders. Experience of using Microsoft packages, bespoke systems and external websites is important in this role as these systems will be used daily. There's no need to be an IT whiz just computer savvy! This role offers a competitive salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum.
