We are Integra (McVey) Limited, a firm of accountants and business advisers based in Sheffield offering services in accounting, taxation, payroll, book-keeping and business advice to a wide range of business and individuals.

We are now looking for a dedicated and forward-thinking Practice Accountant, this position resides within our Sheffield team and presents a unique opportunity to contribute significantly to the organisation's continued growth and excellent client service.
As one of our Practice Accountants you will play a vital role in managing and overseeing client bookkeeping, preparing complex financial statements, and engaging in various accounting and administrative tasks.
This position requires a blend of accounting expertise, client service orientation, and a proactive approach to professional development.
In addition to this as our Practice Accountant you will assume responsibility for:
- Overseeing client bookkeeping, preparation of VAT returns and managing a personal portfolio of clients.
- Preparation of complex financial statements, interim management accounts, and tax returns for businesses of varying size.
- Participation in client meetings and collaboration with directors and business owners.
- Contribution to the training and development of junior team members.
- Involvement in various accounting/administrative tasks as needed.
In order to be successful in this role you must have / be:
- At least 2 years of experience within an accountancy practice environment.
- Proficiency in Iris, Xero, Sage Business Cloud, Sage 50 and QuickBooks is advantageous.
- Qualified by experience or AAT qualified / part-qualified ACA/ACCA.
- Demonstrate excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and communication abilities.
