Summary

Shared Prosperity Senior Instructor

Hull

Salary: £33,096 per annum

37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year - Fixed Term until March 2025

As our Shared Prosperity Senior Instructor, you will be the key member of staff for a short-term project (until March 2025), which focusses on working with employers to meet unmet needs linked to the LSIP priorities in East Riding. As the senior instructor you will take a key role in establishing relationships with employers, undertaking needs assessments to identify training gaps and writing and delivering these as both accredited and non-accredited outcomes.

Responsibilities of our Shared Prosperity Senior Instructor:


To generate new business opportunities within funded projects
To write, develop and deliver new qualifications and training programmes that meet employer needs
To plan, deliver and monitor teaching, learning and assessment in a classroom, workplace, or distance learning context across the following areas:

Health and Safety including IOSH wrking Safely and Managing Safely L3
Training and Educatin, including L3 Award in Education and Training
Digital Skills, including Micrsoft Applications


To carry out enrolment, initial assessment, induction, pre-screening and information sessions for learners and employers across all of the above areas.
To carry out progress reviews and action plans through the appropriate method and update learners and employers on progress towards achievement, in line with college and contractual requirements
To check all areas of learner welfare in the workplace (Health and safety, equality, safeguarding adequate supervision etc.) and report any concerns back to line manager.
Plan and implement internal quality assurance plans and activities in line with college procedures and funding body requirements as and when required within area of competency.
Support the development of other delivery staff in delivering high quality teaching, learning and assessment.


What we’re looking for in our Shared Prosperity Senior Instructor:


You will be a qualified IQA
You must hold or have the qualifications to hold IOSH membership
Experience of teaching the Award in Education and Training
Experience in designing and delivering bespoke training packages at L3 or above
Knowledge of project specific rules and regulations with regards to tracking and recording all outcomes on the relevant systems and paperwork.
