Responsibilities: As the Workshop Manager, you'll be at the heart of our clients operations, overseeing day-to-day activities and ensuring the smooth running of our clients workshop. From handling night shift handovers to allocating mechanics and providing technical guidance, your role will be pivotal in maintaining our clients high standards of service. You'll also play a key role in customer relations, presenting charges, and offering technical advice when needed.
Skills Required:
- Experience: Have worked within the Heavy Plant/ HGV/ Trailer/ Light Commercial vehicle or Lifting Equipment Industry
- Management: Have solid experience of managing people within a workshop environment
- Reliability: We're looking for someone who is dependable, punctual, and self-motivated.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal skills are essential for interacting with staff and customers alike.
- Technical Proficiency: Computer literacy and a full driving license are a must.
- Teamwork: Collaboration is key, so the ability to work effectively within a team is crucial.
Working Hours & Benefits:
- Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:00 (with flexibility to meet customer demands)
