pies that delight taste buds across the nation. Based at our Palethorpes Bakery, Shropshire we're looking for enthusiastic
individuals to join our savoury squad as Line Operators. If you've got a knack for fast-paced food production, a keen eye for
detail, and a love for all things pastry, then you might just be the perfect filling for our team!
Job Description: As a Line Operative, you will play a pivotal role in our fast-paced food production environment, ensuring the
seamless operation of our Hot-Pie production lines. You will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of efficiency,
quality, and hygiene while adhering to strict safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operate and maintain production line equipment efficiently to meet daily production targets.
* Conduct regular quality checks to ensure adherence to product specifications and regulatory standards.
* Work with raw meat and ingredients, following stringent hygiene practices to prevent contamination.
* Monitor critical control points (CCPs) to uphold food safety and quality standards.
* Lift and handle ingredients and finished products, weighing up to 25kg, with care and attention to safety.
* Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve any production issues promptly.
* Uphold a culture of excellence and continuous improvement, actively contributing to raising the bar in production standards.
* Adhere to a 4 on 4 off shift pattern, working 6am-6pm
Requirements:
* Good written and spoken English skills to effectively communicate with team members and supervisors.
* Previous experience in a fast-paced factory environment, ideally within the food industry.
* Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
* Physical ability to lift and handle weights up to 25kg safely.
* Familiarity with operating and maintaining production line equipment is advantageous.
* Knowledge of critical control points (CCPs) and food safety regulations is preferred.
