Summary

Acorn by Synergie is actively seeking and experienced and detail orientated FAIR Engineer for their client, a leading global electronics company at their Barnstaple Facility.


Scope of the role:
To work alongside the Production Engineering team & Quality Engineering team to produce, capture and submit First Article inspection records in accordance with current AS 9102 standards.



Key Responsibilities:
* customer contact and approval of both delta Fairs and full Fairs .
* Supplier Fair reviews and approvals
* Supporting the introduction of new parts and tools into the manufacturing environment.
* Evaluation of the Production of Support documentation for products including Route Cards, Job Traveller, Control Plans and Build Standards.
* Accurate and comprehensive understanding of GD&T as well as reconciliation of test data with tolerances.



Qualifications / Experience / Personal Qualities Required:
* BTEC level 3 in Electronics.
* Technician level experience within a manufacturing environment
* Excellent interpersonal skills
* Ability to build strong relationships and communicate effectively at all levels.
* Demonstrated organisational, planning and program skills with careful attention to detail.
* Good Understanding of the Quality Management System.
* Ability to read customer and supplier drawings
* Ability to read customer specifications and contribute to a compliance process
* Be a good Team Player.
* Have a strong technical bias.
* Work well under pressure to meet strict deadlines.
* Exposure to AS9100 Quality Procedures and Standards.
* A high standard of Maths and English.
* A strong interest in mechanical/electronic engineering.
* Competency in Microsoft Office for the preparation of documentation.

Working Hours:
