Summary


Are you an RMN or an RN with a teaching qualification? We are looking for a dynamic and highly motivated individual with exceptional leadership abilities, to join the MRI Education Team as a Band 6 Clinical Educator. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced practitioner, to support the planning and implementation of high-quality education & training for new and existing staff. The service supports staff to deliver care for patients within the acute hospital setting. The successful candidate would work closely within the corporate education team focusing on corporate educational Workstreams based on the MRI fundamentals of care strategy.

Our busy MRI Corporate Education team, work together to design, plan and deliver evidence-based staff training. We are a positive, inclusive, and progressive team, delivering education and training to ensure that staff feel supported to become competent and confident practitioners, with the skills required to deliver excellent and dignified care to patients. We are looking for an autonomous, charismatic, and engaging individual, who can connect with clinical nursing teams at all levels and support positive changes to organisational culture and practice.

This role will support the Senior Clinical Educator in implementing education, training and development strategies in relation to acute care to relevant staff groups.

The role promises to be both interesting and challenging as you will be teaching and assessing others, using a blended approach, to support the delivery of holistic patient care. You will also be involved in some events management, policy harmonisation and educational promotional launches. The successful candidate will support the hospital Induction for new starters working across the MRI and will be upskilled to deliver clinical skills training across the organisation.

Working with the Senior Clinical Educator the post holder will contribute to improvement of standards to care through collaboration of staff groups participating in audit and research.

In conjunction with the Matron and Senior Clinical Educator the post holder will ensure the workforce is fit for purpose in terms of caring for the acutely unwell adult and that individual/ role competencies are reviewed to provide safe, high quality and efficient service.
