Summary

Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and qualified Primary Teacher to join our team to support our schools across Bishop Auckland.

Job Title: Qualified Primary Teacher

Location: Bishop Auckland Area

Contract Type: Full-Time

Working Hours: Monday to Friday (Flexible)

Expectations of the role:
- Hold a recognised teaching qualification and relevant experience in the primary education sector.
- Demonstrate a passion for education and a commitment to nurturing young minds.
- Display a strong understanding of the national curriculum and the ability to implement creative and engaging lesson plans.
- Exhibit adaptability and resilience in a dynamic classroom environment.

Requirements:
- Must hold a valid DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one (we can support with this)
- Previous experience working in a primary school setting is highly desirable.

Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support as needed.
- Work collectively with colleagues to contribute to the development and implementation of school-wide initiatives.
- Communicate effectively with parents and have greater involvement in all aspects of the role

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
