Summary

Calling all Teaching Assistants in Darlington!

The Primary team at Teaching Personnel are looking for new teaching assistants who are wanting a flexible work life balance with a 'can do' attitude to work with our fantastic schools in Darlington.

The role and expectations:
- You will be supporting a child with additional needs working 1:1 in a mainstream classroom.
- Pro-active individual who can help support with building the children's confidence and their learning and development.
- Working with a child who has ASD and SEND needs
- Afternoons of working with groups of children across the whole primary
- Supporting these pupils with the full National Curriculum to all ranges
- Supporting the class teacher across the whole class
- Level 3 qualified or higher (desirable however having knowledge or experience working with children with SEN)

We are looking for teachers with a kind and caring nature who are looking to make a differenced to the lives of young people. The role is primarily about building a positive relationship with the students and having an engaging personality.

We welcome anyone from a care background or support workers as personal care is sometimes required within our schools.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
