Summary


To provide support to the multi professional team by undertaking appropriate duties following assessment and planning of requirements by a registered nurse. Additionally to provide support by undertaking non nursing and ancillary duties.

To communicate effectively with all members of the multi- disciplinary care team in order to promote positive working relationships.
Maintain a standard of conduct and dress to sustain public confidence and promote the profile of health care employees

Undertake tasks as deemed appropriate by the Registered Nurse/Associate practitioner.
Provide care as directed by a registered nurse, recording actions in documentation.

Take responsibility for personal development and education and the development of a Personal Development Plan.
Support the registered nurse /associate practitioner in maintaining the smooth running of the clinics.

Maintains effective communication with patients, carers, relatives and staff.
Supporting of patients as they move from one setting to another.
Chaperoning of patients as required.
Establish and maintain good relationships with patients, carers and staff alike.
Preparation of patients and treatment areas for direct care.
