Summary


North Tees and Hartlepool Solutions (NTH Solutions) is a limited liability partnership subsidiary of North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust (NTHFT) set up to deliver a range of non-clinical Estates, Facilities and Procurement services across the Trust. The company is a separate legal body to NTHFT.

NTH Solutions is looking to appoint a HR Officer. Candidates will have previous experience working within a HR / Administration team and are seeking to develop their career in a challenging environment.

You will be working closely with the HR Manager, as well as liaising with key shareholders including NTHFT. You will be required to support the HR team across all areas of the company, including recruitment, training, sickness absence, note taking and general administration duties.

We believe, that our strength lies in our relationships and recognises that team working is the building block to success. In addition to your technical skills you will be well versed in building strong internal relationships with key departments and stakeholders in the business.

We are looking for a HR professional who wants to progress in a fast paced and evolving company. This is a varied role where the successful candidate will need to be able to multi- task, have excellent planning & time management skills, be a team player and be prepared to move seamlessly from one task to another, in what is a busy environment.

To provide advice on the application of Trust policies and procedures, employment legislation and best practice. Working with the HR team, supporting Managers to implement relevant approaches to the recruitment, development and management of staff within departments.

To develop effective working relationships with Staff Side Representatives. To provide professional and efficient administrative support to the HR team, as necessary.

Working under the guidance and authority of the HR Manager to handle an operational case load including sickness absence, performance and disciplinary cases, providing an effective HR service.

This role will is based at University Hospital of North Tees (Stockton), however, you may be required to work on any other Trust site as needed.

Provide advice and support to managers and staff on a wide range of employment issues, including bullying and harassment, grievance, disciplinary, performance and attendance management, ensuring that problems are identified and resolved quickly, effectively and fairly and that throughout the process there is effective communication with staff and their representatives.

Under the guidance of HR Manager, support managers through formal sickness, performance management processes and disciplinary investigations, by providing HR advice and attending meetings as appropriate.

To support Director of HR & Corporate Services, Head of HR and HR Team on more complex cases of sickness, performance and discipline as required.

To work with and support the HR Manager in updating all staff training records on ESR. Report to Departmental Manager on a monthly basis training figures and assist in ensure the LLP are meeting the agreed training targets. To assist the HR Manager and Advisor in the delivery of training sessions in their absence.
