Summary
Murray Recruitment are currently recruiting a permanent Account Manager for our client who are a leading, well-established and successful manufacturing organisation a based in Lanarkshire.
Reporting to the Commercial Director, you will be responsible for ensuring focused and first class customer service to a range of key clients. This involves taking taking initial customer enquiry, producing quotation/tender, processing order and overseeing product development to delivery to the client within agreed timelines.
Responsibilities:
Support the sales/tendering team to ensure customer enquiries are handled in a professional and timely manner.
Regular contact with customers – in person and remote- to keep them updated on order progress and manage their requests.
Liaising with the manufacturing team to ensure smooth handover of new orders, regular updates on progress and successful completion of orders including managing any post order issues.
Liaising with and managing the supply chain to ensure orders remain on schedule.
Supporting the identification of potential new suppliers and the auditing of existing.
Support the business with identifying new customers and supporting the associated sales effort.
Ensuring all customer site visits are managed in a professional manner and liaise with the manufacturing team on this.
Working with the management team on supporting any other business priorities as they arise.
Involved with ensuring our media platforms project the correct branding with the latest news and success’s visible to help promote our brand.
Essential requirements:
A proven track record of within a similiar Account Manager / Customer Service Coordinator position ideally within the Oil & Gas sector, Heavy Engineering, Precision Engineering or Heavy Manufacturing sectors

Able to plan and prioritise workload to meet deadlines
Offering
Salary of £33k
Hours of work 8am to 4pm Monday to Thursday and 7am to 1pm Friday
Holidays 33 days including Bank Holidays.
