Summary

As Drinks Buyer you will manage a Procurement Assistant, visit suppliers and negotiate contracts for a business who recognise and reward excellence.

As Drinks Buyer you will report into the Food and Drink Director for a business that provide quality drinks and delicious food.

This role will suit a strong negotiator who has a minimum of 4 years drinks buying experience in either the Branded Hospitality or Retail space.

Day to day you will be responsible for creating and delivering the drinks category strategy by sub-category e.g. beer, spirits, soft drinks, No and Low whilst driving the performance of the category through range management, negotiating contracts and management of suppliers.

To be considered for this role you will need proven experience of working with branded drink suppliers to generate value, negotiate tenders and managing a supplier base. You will have sound commercial acumen with strong analytical, numerical and forecasting skills along with strong stakeholder management and computer skills including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

This is a hybrid role with a minimum of 2 days in the office each week (after settling in) and travel to suppliers as needed.
