Job Opportunity
My client is looking for a talented individual to oversee their busy workshop team as well as providing your skills as a senior technician. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background to deal with the in-depth jobs in the workshop, as well as having a sound understanding of how to run a busy independent workshop. You will need to be familiar with workshop loading, the use of job cards, and computerized systems to ensure smooth running of your team and workload. First time fix is the watchword of this well respected, high-end business, and this needs to be your mantra too. If you are an accomplished Senior Technician who is looking for a change of scenery and would be able to bring their skills and expertise to a well-established independent garage, this could be the opportunity for you. Responsibilities
• Assist with workshop control and efficiency
• All senior technician mechanical and fault finding work
• Help manage the team of technicians
• Assist with record keeping
• Be responsible for quality control in the workshop
• Work alongside the rest of the team to maintain the excellent levels of customer satisfaction
Qualifications
• Proven experience as a Senior Technician
• Independent business, and Main Dealer experience ideal
• Ability to multitask and work with the team
• Excellent technical knowledge and skills
• Stable work history
• Full UK driving licence
Salary and Benefits
• Basic salary to £50,000
• Achievable bonus worth £8k pa
• Mon – Fri 8am – 500pm
• Accredited local business with great reputation
