The Senior PMO Analyst role is critical to the successful delivery of the actions and deliverables across several programmes of work, including the Transmission Acceleration Action Plan (TAAP).

The key responsibilities of this role will also include:

- Creating, maintaining and reporting on the progress of actions, risks and deliverables across a number of programmes of work including continuous improvement activities and action plans which support the delivery of our strategy.

- Establishing and maintaining high levels of project management standards and processes by creating and maintaining templates and guidelines to ensure governance and delivery of projects to the highest possible standard.

- Developing and delivering monthly and quarterly programme reports, ensuring consistent and accurate information is published to relevant internal and external stakeholders on time.

- Project support, which may include ensuring project plans and project documentation are complete and up-to-date, providing regular project status updates, helping to acquire the necessary resources and skills, and contributing to the delivery of business systems to meet identified business requirements.

What do I need?

To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:

- A demonstrable understanding of key PMO responsibilities to ensure the effective coordination of multiple projects or programmes at the same time.

- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with project and programme stakeholders, influencing and negotiating where required to ensure on time delivery of business priorities.

- Strong prioritisation skills, with the determination to deliver to tight deadlines, remaining flexible in response to changing priorities.

- Good computer literacy, with a strong understanding of Microsoft products including Excel, SharePoint and Project.

- The ability to create and deliver reports which clearly demonstrate the performance of the programme or project.
