Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Year One Intervention Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with students in small group and one-on-one settings, focusing on phonics intervention.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver targeted phonics intervention sessions to Year One students.
- Utilize the Read Write Inc. (RWI) program effectively.
- Assess students' phonics skills and tailor interventions accordingly.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure student progress.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and adjust strategies as needed.
- Foster a positive and engaging learning environment.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Proficiency in phonics instruction.
- Training in using the Read Write Inc. (RWI) program.
- Passion for supporting students' literacy development.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare.
