Summary

ARC is recruiting for an Electrical senior Authorised person on a 12 month contract in Canary Wharf.

Day rate £400

Key Responsibilities

• Enforcing RAMS
• Attend daily briefings & site walks with main contractors and clients
• Ensure good testing procedures and quality workmanship is always maintained
• Co-ordinate delivery of materials
• Report to Project Manager
• Progress Meetings / Reports
• Manage the overall Energisation De-Energisation on the project and will be responsible for ensuring that the clients Energisation Procedures are implemented in full on site.

Qualification

Essential

• Educated to GCSE (or equivalent) level 2360, NVQ3 & Initial and Periodic Inspecting and Testing of Electrical Installations 18th Edition
• SMSTS or SSSTS

Desirable

• Additional LOTO Training
• Emergency First Aid
• Qualification in Building Services, Construction

Experience & Knowledge

Essential

• 5 + years’ experience in a similar role in an Electrical environment.
• Experience of dealing with multiple sub-contractors as part of complex, multi-disciplinary building projects

Abilities & Skills:

• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise own workload. Developed problem solving skills, including the ability to manage conflicting work demands.
• Capacity to work independently with limited supervision.
• Be able to undertake a continuous review of procedures to achieve and maintain best practice.
• Excellent problem solver with the ability to deliver high quality and practical solutions
• To be flexible and work as part of a team.
• Able to work under pressure and meet short deadlines.

• Excellent team player with the ability to lead and develop those within the team

• Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to liaise and advise staff at all levels, both in written and verbal.

• Must be very ‘hands on’ with can do attitude
