Summary

Position: Quantity Surveyor

Project: Railway

Location: Milton Keynes

Contract Type: Freelance

Are you looking to elevate your infrastructure experience? Are you a QS looking to move into a freelance role? Do you want to work on one of the biggest projects in the UK? If so then my client, who is part of a major joint venture, is looking to take on additional resources in order to help handle the increase in work stream.

The successful candidate will be brought into assist with the commercial aspect of the project from dealing with procurement, subcontractor management and commercial administration.

Requirements:

  • Qualified in a Quantity Surveying degree or similar
  • You must have previous experience in an Assistant Quantity Surveyor position
  • You must have working knowledge of NEC contracts including options A, B and C
  • Working experience of design subcontracts
  • Experience within a civil contractor environment is essential
  • You must have an understanding of cost and time
  • You must be enthusiastic in your approach and have clear communication skills to be able to liaise with a wide range of people and teams
