Summary
This is a factory setting with designated open plan areas for Hard Lampshades, Soft Lampshades, machining for wire work, packing and frame storage.
The workloads are well structured and planned around orders received from Hotels and Designers.
Shade makers focus on the manufacturing and packing of shades with attention to detail and quality of production.
The processes are repeated with modifications to achieve different styles of shades.
The team is friendly and supportive with a great deal of experience to share.
It is an active environment with sewing machines and material cutting tables.
You will be working as part of a team and upon joining the team, you will be trained in the following processes.
Soft Shade making - Cutting, stitching, framing, taping, glueing, lining, trimming, wrapping, Packing.
Hard shade making - Trimming, rolling, laminating, gluing, pattern making, stitching, fixing, finishing, wrapping, packing.
Full training will be given with a probationary period of 6 months from the start of employment.
