Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Gardener to join our team. As a Gardener, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the beauty of our gardens and landscapes. If you have a passion for gardening and enjoy working outdoors, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Perform various gardening tasks such as planting, pruning, and watering
- Maintain the overall health and appearance of plants, flowers, and trees
- Monitor and adjust irrigation systems to ensure proper watering
- Use hand tools and power tools to trim hedges, mow lawns, and remove weeds
- Conduct regular inspections to identify pests or diseases and take appropriate action
- Assist with landscape maintenance including mulching, fertilizing, and edging
- Collaborate with the team to develop and implement garden designs
- Ensure that all gardening equipment is properly cleaned, maintained, and stored
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in groundskeeping or gardening preferred
- Knowledge of different plant species and their care requirements
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in gardening
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Physical stamina to perform outdoor tasks in various weather conditions
- Excellent time management skills
- Access to your own transport
