The salary for this role is £42,500 - £47,040 per annum, depending on experience.

Main Duties and Responsibilities of the Theatre Practitioner:

• Conducts thorough patient preparation and procedural explanation.
• Administers anaesthesia and meticulously monitors physiological parameters throughout surgery.
• Ensures meticulous setup of anaesthetic equipment prior to procedures.
• Collaborates seamlessly with the surgical team to optimise patient care.
• Demonstrates swift and effective response to surgical emergencies.
• Provides attentive post-operative care and monitoring.
• Maintains precise documentation of anaesthetic procedures and patient responses.
• Engages in continuous professional development to uphold expertise and stay abreast of advancements.

Relevant Qualifications and Experience of the Theatre Practitioner:

• Current HCPC/NMC Registration.
• Postgraduate experience in theatres in the UK.
• Minimum of 12 months anaesthetics experience.
• Completion of an anaesthetics course.
• Proficiency in preparing the anaesthetic room according to patient and anaesthetist requirements.
