Manufacturing Manager
We are partnering with a local manufacturing business in Poole who have a wealth of experience and expertise in their field.
With modern, state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities, our client offers excellent and customer service. Always striving to improve their technology and evolve with the market as necessary.
Our client is now looking for an experienced Manufacturing Manager to help the business continue to flourish.
Key responsibilities for Manufacturing Manager
- Continuously improving the business including and supporting production processes
- Ensure and promote lean practices and methodology with manufacturing to nurture optimum efficiency and productivity.
- Drive initiatives to maintain a safe place of work, ensuring all activities are undertaken in accordance with company Health and Safety policies.
- Able to perform and lead daily manufacturing teams demonstrating strong leadership and situational leadership skills.
- Ensure customer communication and schedules are maintained and that customer support is maintained throughout.
Key skills for Manufacturing Manager
- You must have a good amount of experience in a similar position within a manufacturing and engineering environment.
- Be commercially aware with good business acumen.
- Have high levels of integrity, autonomy, and self-motivation as a role model.
- Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Strong communicator with good listening skills
