Summary
Cafe Seven Leyland T/A Leyland Heritage Cafe in Leyland are recruiting for an Apprentice Service Team Member. The successful candidate will work towards their Level 2 Catering and Hospitality which will take approximately 16 months to complete.
Duties:
• Taking customers orders at the till.
• Bringing food and beverages to tables.
• Serve hot & cold beverages.
• Restocking and stock control.
• Preparation and cooking of of plate components and full dishes such as lunch menu items and all day breakfasts.
• Have an awareness and understanding of Food Safety, Storing, Allergens and Intolerances.
• Involved in production of meals for buffet, outdoor catering or community events.
• Pot washing.
Requirements:
• Driven
• Motivated
• Passionate to learn and develop them self
• Live local or near
• Good level of hygiene, presentable
• Friendly
• Ability to hold their own
• Handle pressured situations, heat of the kitchen
• Desire to build a strong career within Catering and Hospitality, to grow with the business and its successes
Grades:
No formal qualifications required.
Hours:
Rota basis / 5 days Tue-Sun earliest start 8:00am latest finish 8:00pm / 30 min break / 30-35 hours per week
