Your typical day will look like this:
Collaborating with senior management to develop and implement financial strategies aligned with company goals.
· Leading financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
· Managing cash flow and overseeing financial operations such as accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll.
· Working closely with purchasing and logistics departments to optimize costs and improve profitability.
· Providing strategic financial insights to support decision-making and identify growth opportunities.
· Preparing and presenting monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to senior management and stakeholders.
· Implementing and maintaining robust financial systems and controls to safeguard company assets.
· Ensuring compliance with statutory law and financial regulations
· Overseeing the finance department, including hiring, training, and performance management of finance staff.
This role will excite a person who:
· Experience in a financial management role, if e-commerce or wholesale it’s a big plus
· Strong analytical skills and experience in financial modelling, budgeting and forecasting
· Leadership and team management experience
· Knowledge of financial regulations and reporting requirements
· Experience of working with non-financial departments
· Proficient in financial software and MS Office with a strong emphasis on Excel
· Qualified account or qualified by experience (10+ years)
