We are seeking dedicated Support Workers to join our team in providing one-on-one support to a gentleman with Learning Disabilities and Autism in the Whitstable area. The individual enjoys a variety of activities such as sports, films, music, and community outings. As a Support Worker, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the quality of life for this individual, ensuring their needs are met and supporting them in various daily activities.
Requirements:
• Must possess a valid UK Driving License
• Ability to work shifts, including sleep-in shifts
• Robust, proactive, and forward-thinking
• Understanding of the needs of individuals with Autism (training provided if necessary)
• Creative and outgoing personality
Responsibilities:
• Providing one-on-one support to the gentleman
• Participating in various activities based on the individual's interests
• Assisting with daily tasks and routines
• Ensuring the individual's safety and well-being at all times
• Collaborating with the team to develop and implement personalized care plans
