Summary


An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 nurse to join our multidisciplinary team at Bevan Place.

We are looking for a kind, caring and compassionate individual who is motivated to provide high quality occupational therapy assessment and interventions at Bevan Place. Bevan Place is a unique male step down rehabilation unit for both working age and older age adults with complex mental health and physical health needs.

You will act as a positive role model that positively reflects the philosophy of the unit and the values of the trust. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals interested and committed to delivering excellent care within a safe and therapeutic environment.



The post holder will work as part of the multi-disciplinary team and develop and co-ordinateOccupational therapyfor service users within the rehab and high support care hub.

The post holder will supervise and support the technical instructor and junior staff as applicable to their role.

The post holder will provide a variety of group and individual treatment interventions, promoting a recovery and social inclusion focused approach. They will provide assessment and intervention on the unit and in the community.

The post holder will contribute to clinical evaluation and promote use of evidence based practice to inform service improvement

Our team provides longer term support to males with complex mental health needs, service users may also have complex physical health needs and cognitive difficulties.
