Summary
HGV / Refuse Vehicle Technician required in Brentwood, Essex.
Our automotive client is actively looking to hire a skilled HGV / Refuse Vehicle Technician for their workshop.
They are an independently run commercial service centre which has 6 bays and also provides a mobile service for their customers. They do a lot of varied work onsite and like to rotate different tasks to keep their staff motivated and interested.
They have a close knit friendly team where everyone helps each other out and does a share of overtime, they are looking for someone who has a good work ethic and is equally willing to help out.
HGV / Refuse Vehicle Technician Vacancy Details:
- Salary: £18 per hour which will increase to £19 per hour after successful completion of probationary period.
- Plenty of over time available paid at Time+Half.
- Contracted Working Hours is 47.5 hours per week.
- Monday to Friday 7.00am-4.00pm.
- Alternate Saturdays worked 7.00am-12.00pm.
- Auto Enrolment Pension Scheme.
- Contract: Full Time, Permanent.
- Required: UK Right to Work & Full UK Driving Licence.
Additional Benefits fo the Successful HGV / Refuse Vehicle Technician:
- 20 days holiday + bank holidays.
- Company Van + Fuel Card provided from day one which you can take home.
- Additional Training: HGV Class 1 Licence.
They are looking for a fully qualified Level 3 HGV / Refuse Vehicle Technician, ideally with an HGV Class 1 Licence but not essential as they are willing to put Technicians through this course. They use tablets and diagnostic equipment so you will need to be IT literate for this role.
