Job description
The Social Care Limited is looking for Care Workers to support vulnurable adults living in their own home in the London borough of Enfield.
If you are passionate about helping others and care, independence and choice mean more than just words, we would like to hear from you.
The job involves service users with all aspects of personal care, prompting or administering medication, supporting with meal preparation and planning, shopping, escorting, and domestic support while enabling service users to achieve independence in accordance with their care plan.
You must be able to:
Keeping accurate and detailed visit logs of duties carried out, ensuring they are dated, timed and signed.
Respecting confidentiality at all times within an equal opportunities framework.
Ensuring a safe environment is maintained in accordance with company policy and procedures.
Work both independently and as part of a team.
Create and maintain positive relationships with service users and family carers.
Participate in on-going training and development.
Actively participate in regular supervision and appraisal.
You must:
Be over 18 to apply
Have the right to work in the UK
Be flexible as you will be working in the community
Have a good standard of English and be able to communicate effectively
Have an enhanced DBS, which you can apply for upon registration
