Are you an experienced CNC press brake Setter/Operator looking for a new opportunity?
Newstaff employment services are currently recruiting for an established Engineering company and a supplier to customers within the OEM,
automotive, architectural, food and retail industries. Based in Enfield only 10 minutes’ walk from Brimsdown Station on the Greater Anglia Line
we are also easily assessable by road with free parking on site.
We are looking to welcome an experienced Press Break Operator to our team, producing quality products to meet the exacting
demands of our clientèle.
Duties to include
• Setup, adjust and prepare press brake for operation
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and work orders.
• Produce quality parts in a timely fashion.
• Perform quality control checks on parts.
• Maintain accurate records of production and material usage.
• Performing preventive maintenance on the machines
• Adherence to company health and safety procedures
Skills Required
• Experience required as a Press Brake Setter/Operator minimum 1 year.
• Some heavy lifting is involved so you need to be physically fit.
• Attention to detail to ensure high quality output.
• Strong mathematical ability.
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Experienced in setting complex jobs and working to tight tolerances.
• Proactive and able to work as part of a team.
• Good communication skills.
• Be reliable & looking to progress.
• Have a positive working attitude.
we offer 42 hours per week Monday to Friday 7am till 4pm plus pension holidays etc
salary will depend on experience £15.00 p/h upwards - depends on the skill test and qualifications.
