We have a fabulous opportunity as a Support Worker supporting a client with complex care on a one-to-one basis. You will be working with a small team of support staff who are dedicated to provide support to this client.

About the client

The complex care package is for a 66 year old lady with Huntington's disease having 24 hour care.

The Care involves.

Full support with all personal care, washing showering dressing.

Support is needed with preparing all meals and feeding.

Medication support

There is a ceiling track hoist in place for all transfers.

The care also involves companionship. sitting listening to music with her or watching TV on nice weather they can go out to the park or sit in the garden.

What you will be doing… You’ll be working with a small, warm and friendly team in a clients home in Chester. Joining Starcare you will not just be joining a Care Company; it’s a family who supports clients and staff to deliver a high standard of care to clients in their own homes.

You will be involved in a variety of care duties involving:

  • Personal Care – Supporting a Service User in their home,
  • Medication Support
  • Meal preparation and encouragement,
  • Companionship,
  • Support Independence
  • Shopping
