Our dynamic and reputable client, a multi-site veterinary group centred around an accredited hospital, is excited to announce an exclusive opportunity for a seasoned Veterinary Surgeon to join their esteemed team. This role is ideally located in the picturesque county of Essex, providing the perfect blend of serene natural landscapes and bustling urban conveniences.

This unique role places you at the helm of a standalone practice equipped with cutting-edge surgical facilities, while you enjoy the camaraderie and support of a larger team spanning across six practices. Your colleagues will include skilled Veterinarians, Registered Veterinary Nurses, Students, Veterinary Care Assistants, and front-of-house team members.

Our client has been awarded internal accreditation as a centre of excellence, a testament to their unwavering commitment to the highest standards of client service and patient care. This distinction is supported by state-of-the-art surgical and medical facilities, complete with separate dog and cat wards, and boasts a comprehensive kit list, both surgical and medical, that you would expect from a hospital standard clinic.

With a team of 14 Veterinary Surgeons, including both full and part-time clinicians, 15 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 4 Student Nurses, and 4 Veterinary Care Assistants, you will be part of a diverse and talented group. The team also features Vets with existing certifications or those pursuing qualifications in various specialties, such as surgery, medicine, cardiology, ophthalmology, and advanced general practice.

The Rota:
• Full time role - 41 hour week
• 4 day week from 8/8.30am - 7pm Monday - Friday
• 1:5 Saturday morning rota (8am - 2pm)
• 1:9 rota for an overlap service for emergencies only for clients at the hospital (2pm - 5pm on a Saturday and from 8am - 5pm on a Sunday)
• No OOH or on call
