We are dedicated to promoting Health & Wellbeing across our sites, and we're seeking a passionate individual to join our team as a Fitness & Wellbeing Manager at our Cambridge location.Role Overview:As the Fitness & Wellbeing Manager, you will be responsible for promoting Health & Wellbeing throughout the site and encouraging individuals to be more active during the day. You will oversee the operation of the Health & Wellbeing facility, providing exercise instruction, inductions, and classes to members while ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.Responsibilities:1. Key Role
- Manage the Health & Wellbeing facility on a day-to-day basis, providing inductions and one-to-one sessions as required.
- Screen and induct all members, issuing suitable fitness programs and regularly reviewing and updating them.
- Provide a varied class timetable and promote group exercise through live and virtual sessions.
- Promote Health & Wellbeing across the site, organizing activity sessions within offices and encouraging individuals to be more active throughout the day.
- Manage sports groups sections such as Tennis, Football, and Netball.
- Promote all Health & Wellbeing activities using agreed internal and external social media platforms.
- Ensure compliance with all Health and Safety legislation, policies, and procedures.
- Maintain proper maintenance of equipment and services.
- Create a customer-focused environment.
- Resolve all customer queries or comments in a positive manner.
- Work within agreed budgets.
- Improve year-on-year financial performance.
- Maintain relevant licenses and qualifications required for the role.
- Participate in regular meetings to ensure good communication with team members.
- Preferable a background in fitness or personal training
- Ensure the health, safety, and welfare of all individuals on site at all times.
- Comply with recommendations issued by relevant authorities.
- Conduct risk assessments and adhere to COSHH regulations.
- Implement agreed Action Plans and risk reduction measures.
- Proficiently operate the facility, including plant, equipment, and customer service.
- Promote all activities and maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Remain customer focused.
- Assist with the development of Sodexo's and HealthWorks' aims.
- Demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Undertake any other duties as required within the position.
