Summary

Hours: 6 hours per week term time and up to 14 hours holiday time

Area: Fenham, Newcastle upon Tyne

Rate: £13.00 per hour




Ibrahim is a happy little 6-year-old boy who lives with his mum, dad, sister, and brother in the west end of Newcastle. He has a great sense of humour and a lovely smile although he is limited physically, he still enjoys a variety of activities including music, singing, rebound, multi-sensory equipment and cause and effect toys. Ibrahim is non-verbal but enjoys adult interaction and is often interested and engaged in the environment around him. Ibrahim is a social butterfly and is very observant, he has a delightful personality, and is a friendly, loving and very placid little boy.

Purpose of job

The family wants a PA to enable Ibrahim to widen and access opportunities in the community and encourage him to try new activities when he is well and provide some respite for the parents when he is feeling poorly as well. Ideally, the family would like a PA who is enthusiastic with a genuine interest and enjoyment in working with children and has some experience of working with disabled children.
