Summary

Job title: Personal Assistant

Hours: 3 hours per weekend Saturday or Sunday

Rates of pay: £13.00 per hour

The main purpose of this job is to enable T Jay to take part in activities that he wants to do. You will provide support to T Jay in activities, both inside and outside the home.

T Jay is a happy, chatty 13-year-old boy who likes to play games on his phone that involves racing cars or aeroplanes. He also likes to be out and about, either on his bike, playing basketball or visiting the CTRL Pad, a gaming place in The Gate. When out and about T Jay needs to be supervised closely particularly regarding his road sense. He also likes to get all his toys out especially his figures, to play with and loves to line them all up and he likes participating in games especially passing the ball. Recently he has developed an interest in drawing. T Jay is a big fan of Matt Monro and loves playing ‘Born Free’ and ‘Gonna Build a Mountain’.

T Jay is open to suggestions of activities and will let you know if he doesn’t want to do something. A large part of the job will be to participate with T Jay in any activities so he can get the most from them. T Jay likes to be independent and pay for things himself but has a limited understanding of money so ensure that he receives the correct amount of change.

Patience and enthusiasm are essential attributes for this job.
