Summary
We are looking to recruit a cafe assistant to support the current staff, tasks would include operating the till, serving customers and making drinks. Ideally we are looking for a barista trained individual who is confident making a range of different coffees, however, we are happy to train the right individual to fit this role. The successful candidate would be on an initial 4 week trial period.
In return for hard work and commitment we offer pay above minimum wage rates, a free meal during the shift along with drinks and a training program which includes recognised qualifications. Pay to be discussed upon interview.
The ideal candidate should be able to work as part of an effective team, be a good communicator, be able to use their own initiative and take pride in their work. Due to the nature of our business we do experience high volumes of customers during the season and therefore the ideal candidate should be able to work under pressure in a fast paced business whilst offering the same high quality standard of service.
We are based on the beautiful island Holy Island. This is a nature reserve world renowned for its wildlife and beauty. There is no better place to commute to every morning. This is a tidal island and on occasions you will be asked to work when the tide is shut. You will never be asked to work so that you can not get home the same day.
Please note this is initially for the season, starting April until November, however, for the right candidate this could be a permanent position.
