Summary
The Best Connection is a recruitment agency, and this position is being offered on a permanent basis.
We are looking for Extrusion Technician in Hastings to assist out client.
You will be responsible for ensuring that the machines produce to quality and throughput targets and be capable of taking necessary actions when these targets are not being me.
Daily roles and responsibilities: coordinate with Maintenance Engineers during problem solving, breakdowns and improvement efforts. You will be responsible for ensuring that the machines produce to quality and throughput targets and be capable of taking necessary actions when these targets are not being met. Operate the plastic extrusion machines on site. These are generally categorised as a higher complexity than other equipment on site. Support the maintenance technicians when breakdowns occur, and to take part in problem solving and improvement activities. Optimise machine settings during production so that product throughput, quality and waste are optimised. (Please be aware your role may not be limited to these tasks)
For this position you will need: Right to work in the UK. Experience is not required. Access to a device to complete an online application. Monday - Friday - 06:00 - 14:00 - 14:00- 22:00 - £35,000
